Jess Fernandes-Hack

Architectural Assistant

Jess recently joined the practice and is currently working towards her Part 1 architectural degree at the University of Bath. Her latest university project was to design a public place of ‘healing’ to serve the townspeople of Salisbury. The design process challenged her critical design thinking, technical knowledge of sustainable materials such as hempcrete and communication both visually and through presentation. These are key skills she has been developing throughout her studies which she is keen to apply in our professional practice environment. Her role primarily involves assisting with residential and commercial schemes across RIBA stages 2-5. Beyond Architecture, Jess has a passion for ballet which has been a life-long pursuit, alongside her love for exploring the fine arts. She is looking forward to returning to Bath to apply skills gained through practice to the final year projects before her graduation.
