Planning Permission Secured for 7 New Homes in Ashford

17.12.25

We are delighted to announce that planning permission has been granted for our latest residential scheme in Ashford. The development will transform two aging bungalows into a thoughtfully designed development of seven new dwellings, complete with an access road and landscaped amenity spaces.

This project presented a unique challenge: creating a high‑quality, contemporary neighbourhood on a tight urban site while being extremely mindful of neighbouring properties. Our design evolved through close collaboration with the local planning authority, incorporating adjustments to ensure compliance with daylight and privacy standards and every home has been positioned to respect the neighbours whilst minimising overlooking.

This approval is among the first in our portfolio to be determined under England’s new Biodiversity Net Gain requirements. By working proactively with the planning authority and the ecological consultants, we’ve established a clear route to meeting the minimum 10% net gain, combining high‑quality on‑site planting with off‑site credits where appropriate. It reflects our growing expertise in navigating BNG from concept through approval and our commitment to delivering developments that enhance local ecology as well as the built environment.

Beyond the technical details, our vision is to create a social neighbourhood - a place where families can thrive, with safe pedestrian routes, green spaces and homes designed for modern living. The architecture draws inspiration from the surrounding context, blending traditional materials with a contemporary approach to deliver a scheme that feels both fresh and familiar.

We are proud of the collaborative effort that brought this project to life and look forward to seeing these homes become part of Ashford’s evolving residential landscape.
