Peter Leaver Joins Robert Davies John West

We’re delighted to welcome Peter Leaver to the Robert Davies John West team!

Peter joins the practice as a Chartered Landscape Architect, bringing with him a wealth of experience built up over several decades in the profession. He holds a BA (Hons) in Landscape Design and a Postgraduate Diploma in Landscape Architecture from Manchester Polytechnic - and was elected a Member of the Landscape Institute in 1989.

Peter has considerable breadth of experience and specialises in the preparation of Landscape & Visual Impact Assessments (LVIAs), as well as providing Proof of Evidence for Appeals and the preparation of detailed landscape proposals. His work spans nationwide and his expertise will be a valuable addition to the practice as we continue to deliver thoughtful, well-considered design solutions.

Alongside his professional practice, Peter is Deputy Leader of North Devon District Council and also sits on Barnstaple Town Council, giving him a strong understanding of planning, governance, and the wider public realm.

When he’s not working, Peter is rarely stationary - he prefers to cycle everywhere, is a self-confessed Francophile and enjoys oysters, Roscoff onions, street dancing and the occasional glass of Pineau des Charentes.
